Transportation
The Fountain of Arethusa is located on the island of Ortigia, the historical center of Syracuse. It's easily accessible on foot from anywhere within Ortigia. From the mainland (Syracuse), you can take bus lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 12, or 21 to reach Ortigia. Get off at a stop near the Umberto I bridge and walk across to the island. Once on Ortigia, follow the signs towards the waterfront; the fountain is near the Lungomare Alfeo.
